Period 1&2: 6th Grade English Language Arts (Reading & Writing block)

 

This is my 14th year teaching at Pioneer Middle School. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Adolescent English Language Arts. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology & History from the University of Washington, and a Masters in Teaching from the UW College of Education. Having grown up in a military family, I have lived in many different places including Colorado, Missouri, Texas, and Korea. I have two daughters aged 8 and 2. My oldest daughter attends Chloe Clark Elementary and will be in the third grade this year. I have two dogs named Ernie and Zoe. I also have a surprisingly quick turtle named Turbo. I am an animal lover. My dream is to own a big plot of land so I can have as many pets as I please!
