•  The Steilacoom Historical School District is proud to partner with Madigan Army Medical Center to provide School-Based Health Clinics at Pioneer Middle School and Steilacoom High School.   
    All DEERS enrolled active duty or retired dependent 6th-12th grade students are eligible for full health care services at school based health clinics.  These clinics help students and parents avoid missed school and work days by providing full-scope health care services in their school.
    Every other from Wednesday 8:15-10:45am starting September 18, 2019      
    Thursdays from 8:00am-1:45pm starting September 10, 2019
    Services available:
    • Screening, treatment, or followup of asthma, diabetes, ADHD, depression, acne & other health problems
    • Behavioral health screening and counseling
    • Acute minor illness management
    • Immunizations
    • Sports injury/concussion management
    • Sports and school physicals
    • Nutrition and weight counseling
    • Comprehensive Well Woman services
    • Medication management
    • Specialty care referrals
    Appointments can be made by calling TRICARE at (800) 404-4506 and specifying the appointment is for the School-Based Health System.

    If you would like your child to be seen at their Madigan School-Based Health Clinic during the 2019-20 school year, please complete the Consent for Services. Completed forms should be turned into the school nurse's office. The completed consent form can also be dropped off at the Department of Soldier & Community Health, Madigan Annex, Ramp 3, Bldg 9926-A.
