I am thrilled to be teaching at Anderson Island Elementary and to be part of such a warm and dynamic community. AIE is a wonderful place to teach, and I feel lucky to be in this profession doing what I love. I strive to create a caring, safe, and engaging learning environment, which encourages students to believe in themselves and to do their personal best.
I grew up in Hawaii and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of Hawaii and my Masters in Education Administration from Azusa Pacific University. I have been in education for 46 years and taught pre-school to college students. Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, hiking and spending time with my fantastic husband of 35 years.
