This is another set of work, of which we will do at least some. I may end up of you some choice in what you do, so you should look this over to think about what looks most appealing to you.
This work is from throughout the book, and would likely be do midway through our reading and/or at the end.
BUT DON'T WAIT TO THINK ABOUT AND START THIS WORK!
This document gives the general background for the 3 basic tasks we will be doing as we read Lord of the Flies.
Task 1--discussion and journaling about specifics in the book--will be on-going, while we read. Due dates to be determined, but could immediately follow the reading of each chapter.
Task 2--discussion of thematic issues arising from the book--will start a few chapters in, and will be periodic, though not as routine as Task 1. Due dates to be determined, but could immediately follow the working on Task 2.
Task 3--paper or presentation--will be after we've finished the book. Due date will be sometime after we complete the book.
The journaling instructions below will serve as the instructions and guide for Task 1.
