Release of Attendance Forms

    education-books-globe Most students in Washington go to the public schools that are closest to their homes. But parents and guardians have many enrollment options for their kids. Students can attend an approved private school, enroll in an Alternative Learning Experience program (such as an online school), be taught at home, attend a charter school, or transfer to another school outside the district in which they live.  
     
    If you reside in the Steilacoom Historical School District (SHSD) and you want your child to attend a different school district, attend an online school, or partially attend an online school and partially attend an SHSD school, please complete the appropriate form below and submit as directed

    ATTENDING ANOTHER SCHOOL DISTRICT (INCL. ONLINE SCHOOL)
     
    If your child is requesting full-time attendance at a school in a different district (e.g., Clover Park SD, etc.) or an online school (e.g., WAVA, Insight School of WA, etc.), please complete the Choice Transfer Request form. This form must be submitted to the SHSD Enrollment Office for processing.

    ATTENDING BOTH AN ONLINE AND A STEILACOOM SD SCHOOL
     
    If your child is requesting to attend BOTH an online school AND an SHSD school, please complete our Inter-District Agreement Request form. This form must be submitted to your child's school counselor for processing and approval.
