Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching and learning materials that reside in the public domain or have been released under an open license. These resources may be used free of charge, distributed without restriction, and modified without permission.Steilacoom Historical School District No.1 has formed an OER cadre to guide the implementation of this new resource.This website will grow with resources for teachers: OER content by subject and grade-level and training modules for staff on how to use OER.

The OER Commons
The OER commons is a resource for teachers to find digital learning resources and to network with other educators from around the world. Teachers can find curricula that are free to access, use, distribute, and repurpose at the site. Teachers can search resources by standards, grade level, and content.
