Hello! My name is Scott Gaffey and I am so excited to be a part of Saltar's Point this next year! I started my teaching career in Wyoming where I taught for 7 years teaching 5th and 6th graders. Since then, my wife, Mrs. Gaffey (5th grade teacher at Saltar's Point) and our family decided that the winters are too harsh and decided to move to an area with more abundant opportunities, greener pastures, and a more moderate temperature.  

The past two years we taught in Yelm. I taught 5th and 4th grade. We heard great things about Steilacoom and decided to take the plunge and crossover, and we have been impressed! This is such a great district to be a part of.
