Welcome to 5th Grade!

My name is Kayla Gaffey and this will be my 15th year of teaching. I taught in Wyoming for 11 years before moving to Washington just over 3 years ago.  I have my Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the University of Iowa and my Masters in Elementary Math from Western Governors University. I am currently working on my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.  I taught 6th grade for six years before moving down to 5th grade where I have been ever since.  This will be my second year at Saltar's Point and I am very happy and excited to be a part of the Steilacoom community!
