Hello, my name is Kristen Barton and I have the pleasure of being Saltar's Point math intervention teacher this year.  This is my twenty-first year in education and my fourteenth here at Saltar’s Point.  Before coming to Steilacoom I taught second through fifth grades in Tacoma and 6^th grade in Puyallup.  Fourth and fifth grades are my very favorite.  I am very excited to be teaching in such a wonderful school and community! I also offer personal training and nutrition classes besides teaching elementary school. In my spare time, I love running, playing sports, cheering on the Seahawks, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
