    10/7 - On- line Orders for Choir shirts and Hoodies - information will be sent home on 9/23

    10/??  - Poinsettia and Wreath Fundraiser orders and money due

    11/?? - Choir Shirts and Hoodies orders delivered to student at school

    12/?? - Poinsettia and Wreath Fundraiser pick up  -  3 pm to 5:30 pm PIO Cafeteria

    12/6 - Winter Choir Concert - 6:30 to 7:30 pm - Concert Attire required - Required of all singers

    Information about me:

    I am starting my 29th year in education and my 8th year of teaching Choir and General Music/Appreciation at Pionner Middle School. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Choral Education from Pacific Lutheran University and a Masters in Instructional Technology from City University. 

    I hold holds professional memberships in the American Choral Directors Association and the National Association for Music Education. 

    For the past 17 years, I have served on the Board of the Mountain Region Music Education Association. For past 13 years I have served as Treasurer. For the past 12 years I have sang Alto 2 in the Symphony Tacoma Voices.

    In 2018, I was humbled and honored to receive the “Middle Level Educator of the Year” award by the Washington Music Educators Association.

    In my free time, I enjoy: floating on a lake in warmer weather, reading, playing cards/board games, playing Pokemon Go with my husband, spending time with my daughter and playing with our corgi puppies Coda (tri colored) and Augie.
