    Zoom Class Meetings with Mr. Byrd

    Due to low individual class participation, starting next Friday, May 15th, Mr. Byrd will hold 1 meeting for all class periods at 10:30. This is the perfect time to ask science questions! They could be about the online material or other science related stuff.

    The longer I live, the more I notice how valuable it is to do one simple thing: be kind.
    - When someone does a good job, tell them.
    - When someone makes a mistake, forgive them.
    - When someone tells you their problems, listen.
    Being kind barely costs a thing. You'll hardly remember you did it, but the other person may never forget that you did.

    Biography

    I grew up in Kirkland, WA and attended Juanita High School. I graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in business Management. I received my masters in K-8 education from City University. I have been a teacher in the Franklin Pierce School district for 8 years before coming to Pioneer. I have two children, Benny and Mia and I'm married to the great 6th grade math teacher, Mrs. Byrd.
