Dear Parents, Caregivers, and Students,
I am so excited to be teaching at Saltar’s Point Elementary! I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child this year. ParentSquare is our primary form of communication and Google Classroom is our primary teaching and learning platform. Here is some important information about our classroom:
Neural Education PhilosophyIt is my job to teach each student the skills to be successful academically and emotionally at school. To support their success I strive to create a safe atmosphere where each student feels valued, can build trust, and work collaboratively with others. I have created classroom routines and structures that focus on intrinsic motivation, increasing students' sense of autonomy and purpose, which in turn, will lead to mastery.
ParentSquare:All district and classroom communications will be handled through ParentSquare this year. If you have not signed up for this application click on this link below to access.

Google Classroom:You will be able to access our Google Classrooms through the like below.

Science and Social Studies
I decided to separate the subjects into three classrooms to help students stay organized. Otherwise, looking at all the assignments in one classroom can get overwhelming for students.i-Ready and Reading:
