    Biography
I've been a science teacher at Pioneer Middle School since 2017 and have thoroughly enjoyed the collaborative spirit that is central to the success of our sixth-grade team. This year, I will also be working with our wonderful 7th grade science teachers as well.

Our science team is working very hard to create a strong science program that allows students to develop their love and interest in the science of our natural world.  The staff, here at Pioneer, is committed to providing families with exceptional guidance that will allow each child to be successful.

I am a military child and spouse. My family, we have 3 children, lives here in DuPont and my daughter is a senior at Steilacoom High this year. We love being a part of this community and school district. This school year will be my 16th in public education. I am looking forward to meeting all of my students and starting an excellent new year.
    Education

I grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and attended Jackson Public Schools. I completed my undergraduate work at Jackson State University with a degree in Biology Secondary Education. I received a Masters in Science Teaching and an Educational Specialist in School Administration, both  from Mississippi College.
