This district-wide handbook includes the policies and procedures that pertain to the rights and responsibilities of students in the Steilacoom Historical School District. They are designed to ensure that students have a safe and productive learning environment.  District rules and regulations are based upon state law, county and town/city ordinances, State Board of Education bylaws, and the policies adopted by our Board of Directors.  Effective implementation of these guidelines requires a good faith effort on the part of students, parents and staff.  Each school may have more specific information about the expectations for students in the building.  Students and families are encouraged to become familiar with their school’s handbook or rules.
