• Volunteers provide support for our schools through direct service for students (chaperoning, helping in classrooms, Watch D.O.G.S. program, reading to students) and indirect services for students (assisting in the front office, PTA's and Booster Clubs, set up, clean up and concessions at sports events).  Students and staff truly appreciate the gift of your time and efforts to make Steilacoom Historical District a great place to learn and grow.

  • Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve…. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
