On February 21, 2023, the Steilacoom Historical School District Board of Directors unanimously passed a resolution to place a bond proposition on the ballot for voters on April 25, 2023.  The proposed bond would fund a new elementary school, a high school stadium and performing arts center, additional career and technical education space and classroom space at the high school and middle schools, and improvements at every elementary school.   Our taxpayers are paying off the last bonds that were approved in 2005, so these bonds replace the existing bonds and would not result in a tax increase for local voters.
