We’re proud to share that SHSD's Sodexo Food Service Team received the Rooted in Excellence Nutrition Education Award from OSPI!
Our Food Service Team hosts culinary classes for students and deliver nutrition education presentations. Staff use the Bite Science curriculum and a Kitchen Academy model to support hands-on learning. Through these experiences, students prepare nutritious and flavorful recipes while building practical skills they can use throughout their lives!
