Summer Meal Resources

The Steilacoom Historical School District announces sponsorship of the Summer Meal Program for children. Meals are available at no charge to any child age 1 – 18 years old.

Steilacoom Summer Meal Program
The Summer Meal Program will serve lunch at Steilacoom sites from June 22 to August 21, 2026.
 

Lunch only will be served at the following locations in partnership with our community partners, the town of Steilacoom and the Pierce County Library System. Children must eat on-site during service time/hours. Menus can be found on the district’s website at http://www.steilacoom.k12.wa.us/summer-meals

Anderson Island Summer Meal Program
The Summer Meal Program will serve meals to Anderson Island families weekly on Wednesdays from June 17 to August 19, 2026.
 

Anderson Island families will pick up meal bags consisting of 7 days’ worth of breakfasts and lunches (with an option of milk) at the following Anderson Island meal drop-off sites. Families should visit www.steilacoom.k12.wa.us/summer-meals to complete required sign-up form and waiver, as well as view menus and heating instructions.

Washington SUN Bucks Summer EBT Program
SUN Bucks, also known as Summer EBT, is a program that helps families buy food for their school-aged children during the summer. Families will get a one-time $120 benefit per year for each eligible child to help buy groceries during the summer months.


Families are strongly encouraged to update their mailing address with their TANF, SNAP and the school their child attends in preparation for 2026 SUN Bucks benefits. The address on file will be used for delivering benefits.
