Non-Resident Attendance 2025-26
While each request will be considered individually, approval of non-resident requests ultimately will be based on space availability in the grade or program requested. As our enrollment numbers change throughout the year, our ability to accept non-resident applications may be impacted.
All three steps must be complete before the district will review your child's application:
- Request a Choice Transfer/Release of Attendance from your RESIDENT school. In most cases, this process can be completed electronically through the online OSPI Choice Transfer Portal. If your resident school district does not support the OSPI Online Choice Transfer Portal, please contact them directly for a paper form.
- Complete the 2025-26 Steilacoom SD Request for Non-Resident Attendance form (online AdobeSign document). When all required fields are completed, click "Finalize Document" at the bottom of the screen and the form will come directly to our office for processing.
- **NEW REQUESTS ONLY** Send the following documents from the past two school years (2023-24 AND 2024-25) to enrollment@steilacoom.k12.wa.us:
- Transcript/Grades
- Attendance Records
- Discipline Records
Please contact enrollment@steilacoom.k12.wa.us for questions or assistance.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
