Mental and Behavior Health Services at SHSD

SHS Counseling Department
The Steilacoom High School Counseling Department offers counseling support to students in the areas of academics, career, and personal/social. 
Counselors are available every day before school, during lunch, and after school for drop-in appointments.

Consejo Counseling Services
Consejo Counseling provides a continuum of behavioral health, substance abuse, and domestic violence services including prevention, treatment, and housing to individuals and families. Clients experience acceptance, emotional security, and developmental growth while learning new skills to improve the quality of their lives. Consejo services are provided free of charge to district families, regardless of insurance status. Please contact your child's school counselor for a referral.

ACTS Behavioral Health
ACTS is a community-based mental health and substance use disorder outpatient treatment agency that strives to offer a wide spectrum of care for behavioral health services to the community at large. ACTS provides counseling with therapeutic goals that will support the student's academic success.
