Welcome to the 2026-27 school year!

I hope you had an opportunity to rest and enjoy time with family and friends this summer. As we begin a new school year, I want to thank you for your unwavering commitment to our students and for all you do to ensure they have a successful and joyful start to school.

We are excited to welcome 29 new staff members to the SHSD team this year. Together, we continue to build a district culture grounded in strong relationships, high expectations, and a shared commitment to providing the best education for every student.

Our Professional Learning Days on August 28, August 31, and September 1 will provide opportunities to reconnect with colleagues, learn together, and prepare for the year ahead. Our principals have thoughtfully planned these days to support a strong start and set the stage for an amazing school year.
